Another client of KoOSK is the widely recognised specialist drinks manufacturer
and distributer "Quivers" of "Test Tube Products Ltd (TTP)" who approached us
recently to develop an online business brochure website that would promote their
products whilst also providing a function for candidates to submit job
applications online.
Mostly specialising in Alcoholic drinks one the main requirements established
when speaking with Ralph Coombs Managing director of TTP was that the site must
not promote irresponsible drinking and must not promote alcoholic products to
under age consumers. Along side these requirements we were also asked to create
a site that would feature the following:
- A candidates section with the ability to apply for jobs online
- A full interactive photo gallery presenting an array of images of the products
and product packagin.
- A full overview of the products created by the company and a detailed section of
the ability to produce bespoke products
- A section aimed at the current and potential clients of the company outlining
how the business operates
- An about us section outlining the history and current success of the business
- A contact us section complete with online form to send emails direct to a
pre-specified address direct from the site.
- The site should in some way match the colours of the products and offline media
Taking the above requirements into account KoOSK went away to produce a design
for the website that also incorporated a function suggested by the KoOSK team
which was an initial gateway to the site that required the users to firstly
enter their date of birth. The system would then calculate the users age and
direct all users over the legal drinking age to the Quivers site and all those
under the age bracket to the goverment standard drinkaware.co.uk website.
Once the website design had been presented and approved by the company we went
away to develop the site complete with all the above functional requirements.
We are pleased with the end result of the site and have recieved positive
feedback from Quivers and users of the site.
